Our carefully tended hives located on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi are cared for by Mr. B(ee), the head of our family.
Our award-winning honey was first place winner for Best Liquid Tropical Multifloral - Light for the Big Island district of Kaʻu and also placed for Best Texture Liquid Honey - Tropical Multifloral - Light at the Big Island Beekeepers Association's 2013 Hawaiian Natural Honey Challenge. Since 2013 we've continued to place at the annual Big Island Beekeepers Association's Hawaiian Natural Honey Challenge, winning another first place ribbon in 2014 and a couple second place ribbons in 2016 for our crystalized Volcano lehua honey (Solid Honey Catagory and People's Choice Award). In 2017 our crystalized Volcano lehua honey won the first place trophy in the solid honey category! Our honey and honey-products are home-produced and processed. Mr. B(ee) holds a Certificate of Achievement from the Environmental Health Service Division Hawaiʻi State Department of Health Food Safety. We carefully process the honey and every effort is made to create a clean, pure and untainted product. When he's not out tending hives Mr. B(ee) can be found teaching at the local high school. Raw honey should not be consumed by infants under one year of age. Our logo was created by woodblock-artist Caren Loebel-Fried. |
